Photographer’s Note
This one was shot about one year ago at the small exhibition of young local artists. Those two women were accidental visitors, who just came in from their usual Saturday shopping tour :)
I do not know why, but this painting they were studying more intently than others.
Well, this is the end of my little story about three hats :)

I like the soft colors, the complete symmetry, up to the handbags, the relation between reality and a representation, and their position where you can feel they are very concerned by the image they look at. A very attractive composition around a well catched scene. Well done, Dmitry.

This is just marvelous! The sepia of the two women matches the sepia in the painting. Very, very well done!

This reminds me of when I was at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. They had an exhibition on African American Church Hats. I was looking through our local 'culture' magazine Creative Loafing and I saw a picture of one of my friends wearing a hat looking at the picture.

What a moment to catch.
Apart from the clothes and their colour the two figures are absolutely identical.
Wonderful very well done

Yes three hats is great but also I find quite interesting that the beret of the woman on the left matches the color of the coat of the other woman and vice versa. The way they are standing shoulder to shoulder shows a very intense moment. The similarity of how they are dressed makes me think they are twins.

A very good triangular composition, beginning with the two bags they are carrying, pointing out in the painting they're looking to.
The different colors of the clothes sublines that there are two, looking to one.
A very inteligent photo, with a lot of stories and thoughts in it.
Congratulations, Dmitry.

This is the kind of photo I like very much, taken on the fly, a bit humorous but with great compo lines.
Plus I have some special fondness for that specific "at the museum" topic : photographying other photos provides a mind stirring effect. Lots of BW street photographers have been shooting inside museums, as Elliott Erwitt for instance. The fact that it was shot in color rather than BW adds another dimension, you were very lucky to fond such matching colors, someone describes the women as twins, I would say symetric twins...just look at the color opposition such as their berets or coats.
Now, the third person, ie the one in the photo, really looks like participating to the others interrogation : it looks like the three characters are all putting their hand on their mouth and that a big question mark is coming out above their heads "Could it be me?" these mirroring characters are wondering.

This is wonderful! You captured these women perfectly "posing" for you...and they probably did not even realize it. ;-)
The triangular arrangement of the women and their hats is perfect.

Well seen and captured. And of course not only the hats, but the fine colour setting also reflected in the choice of your framing.
There is also a kind of a symmetry in the pic like in the way this ladies is holding their bags and the placement of their other arms.
Fine artistic composition Dmitry.

I really like how the vomen's clodes matches the rst of the soft colours in this photo. Veryy well seen and captured. It has a touch of humor to it. Vomen with hats studying a painting of a woman in a hat.
