Photographer's Note

After one hectic day running around Buenos Aires, I caught a flight to Bariloche pop 75,000 some 2500 km southwest of Buenos Aires near the Chilean border.

Bariloche is in the heart of the Argentine lake region, a place filled with beautiful lakes and forests and was settled by Germans and Swiss, hence the influence in the architecture as well as the food (Bariloche is well known for its chocolates). Bariloche is also Argentina’s main ski resort.

While it does look like a Swiss town, the nature around it (as a Swiss girl that I met there told me) feels a lot bigger and more untamed that the one in Switzerland.
