Photographer’s Note

The winter darkness takes its toll on us all. We get tired and worn out during the short days with the low sun. Quite a number of us get real depression too due the bad balance of vitamins and sleep hormons caused by the lack of high quality sunlight.

But just wait - with a bit of sunlight we get back in shape in time for the payback, the long bright summer evenings.

And the picture shows a tiny pine tree bent over by the heavy load of winter. Shot at the intersection of the track between Älgsjön and Dragsjön and the dog and sledge track to Prästbodarna. I am sure you know where I mean.
