Photographer’s Note

Huacachina oasis is 5 km to Ica and 300 km south of Lima.
This is the view from top of the dunes.Because climbing the dunes is verry exhausting I was too late to show the whole oasis in sunlight.
You can see the white roof of Hostal las Rochas where I stayed at the left side between the trees.
You can have a look at my previous foto taken from the lake.

Excellent POV! This is the first time I see Huacachina this way. When I was there I was too lazy to climb the dune and I hoped that once time I'll find a sportsman who made it in order to show me a photo from the top.And after 4 years I've found this sportsman!

What a very strange place to be so in the middle of the desert. Very good taken from the dunes. I even think when you would not show the grassland on the left and only the sand, that it would be more stronger than it's allready is.
Nevertheless........good work, very nice..!!!

This photo shows with great clarity what is an oasis. In the middle of the desert it creates a great contrast between the green one, the water and the sand.
Definite well and beautiful colors.

Very strange oasis in the middle of nowere. I know the Pica osasis in North Chile but this one is very more interrresting. Very well captured.
