Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken after a informative show by this older gentleman who is of Native American Indian decent. It was 40th anniverary of Art Center in the town of Paradise.
Here you see this gentleman in full costume (his entire costume is authentic, of course as Rew pointed out to me not the sunglasses)with two assistants, who are his granddaughters.
He is is keeping the tradition alive.
I have posted a close-up shot of this gentleman in the worshop.

Excellent close-up on this family, their costumes and it's colours really powers the photo. I like the expression the girl's face seeming so proud to pose to your camera.

Yes - about those sunglasses. Authentic no doubt, but not from the 19th century!!

A nice touch that the costume has the jacket of a U.S. Army soldier.

It is good to show Native American Indian keeping their Tradition alive...Nice family portrait with their costume...Only the black jacket is not really traditionnal, but authentic as your note said....Light and colors are good too...

Interesting and very colorful Parnab.Your portrait of old man is nice.I visited Plymouth Plantation near Boston,Which had native americals in their 17th century dresses.I shall post those later.

Hi Pranb,
I Like the way they're framed against the ornmental grass the seems to echo the the feathers of the costume. Clearly someon has gone o lot of trouble to make these costumes. The girls seem proud of their beautiful outfits but also a little embarassed. Clearly you've aken our adopted home to your heart.
