Había visto las otras fotos de la San Silvestre pero esta es la que más me gusta.
El movimiento y el color, muy buena la combinación, tienen todo el peso de la foto.
Y... y yo corrí también la San Silvestre (la de Barcelona, claro).

Isabel, essas fotos me dão uma incrível sensação de movimento e garra (nesta, especificamente, o corredor de vermelho traz na expressão o esforço que está realizando). Bom trabalho de documentação dessa corrida que é um marco da passagem de ano em nosso país. Bom trabalho! Abraço grande! Miguel.

SUper series, you really are very good at this flowing, almost Franci Baconesque panning! The figures emerge out of teh fog of movement and yet some of ten vagueness clings to them. A very distinctive "look".

Muito legal esse efeito mesmo! Essa foi a melhor das de São Silvestre, mesmo nos passando uma impressão de velocidade bem maior que era na realidade!
Pena minha máquina não ter esse recurso, de segurar o obturador, mas em breve to comprando uma SLR pra mim! hehe
Será que se colocar um tempo pré-definido na máquina, 1seg + ou - e fechar ela bem consigo esse efeito também?

Lovely action picture of these famous Silvestre race. I thought I red in the paper that its was the first full Brazilian victory since the race is international. Great tradition for the turn of the year.

A fotografia ficou realmente muito boa, com esse interessante efeito de movimento. Acho que a Secretaria de Turismo, se é que lá existe alguém com olhos de qualidade, teria interesse nela, de tão representativa. Um excelente trabalho.

Isabel, de todas as suas fotos da Sao Silvestre esta e a melhor. Na minha opiniao, e claro. O efeito panning ficou fantastico e perfeita execucao. Da pra ver o quao duro estes caras tao dando. Vc vai participar da corrida proximo ano? Fica mais barato do que participar do desfile de carnaval, e alem do mais e mais saudavel ...

Well I can relate to this image :) I was trying to create a similar photo with the same effect on the weekend and failed, but I think you've succeeded quite well here. I think where yours succeeds is the amount of colour present which helps create a much more lively scene.

Fantastic action photo Isabel with the panning blurring out the background and slow shutter blurrring the athletes legs but you have kept the expression of the athletes. Good technical capture.
