An Architect's Masterpiece: HKIA
 |
|
| [Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo |
TITLE OF THE PHOTO IS A TESTAMENT TO THE ARCHITECT WHO DESIGNED THIS MARVELOUS STRUCTURE: This is Hong Kong International Airport (formerly known as Chek Lap Kok), one of the largest not just in Asia, but in the world. What impresses me the most with HKIA is its splendid use of natural light and steel, huge glass panels and long, arched beams. This photo is a perspective from the second floor of this wing, taken at around 6:30 a.m. when the airport was just about to wake up. This airport was built on reclaimed island and was completed shortly before the handover of Hong Kong from Britain to China. You can find Hong Kong Disneyland in the same island group by the way.
Note: This is a compressed shot from an original 4.5MP photo; I had to settle for lower MP in order to have a wide-angle shot. |

i really like your picture. Very nice composition. Interesting description also And i am giving you a positive feedback (happy face)
The only thing that bothers me a little is the name you gave the image. You really seem to be bragging when you write MASTEREFULL about yourself. Please let US decide that.
Please continue to post your nice pictures.
Thank you
Mike
