Photographer’s Note

Taken at the stairs leading to the entrance of the Abbey at Mont Saint Michel, Normandy, France.

She was waiting for about 10 minutes, ignorant of her surroundings and keenly watching the good view down below from there.

Hi Vijayabaskar,

Nice photo, good choice for black and white, fine contrast, nice scene. The low POV in combination with the stairs works fine.
I think though, when placing this girl in some other position of the frame it would be stronger..but well..maybe she had to move for the best result. And since she was (day-)dreaming..this might not have possible.
Anyhow, nice result. Well done.

Another good shot from you. Photography doesn't always meanclicking, but alos waiting patiently for the right moment.......and I would like to say that a beautiful piece of photography just missed the mark......why?...the subject on the downright side corner needs to either disappear completely or should appear withourt any cropping.
Its always easy to criticise and advise others but dificult to click at the right moment....but thats what we aim for.
So happy hunting next time, with abundance of patience to wait and then pounce on your subject completely like a tiger.
