Photographer’s Note
One of the most interesting monasteries around Moscow - New Jerusalem Resurrection Monastery. It was founded by patriarch Nikon in the middle of 17th century, at the same time the Resurrection Cathedral (shown on photo) was built as a local copy of the Holy Sepulture.
The Monastery was completely ruined by Nazis during WWII and since 50-ies is beeing rebuilt. Yet there's much to be restored.
A great place for one day trip from Moscow on a sunny day.

Hallo Dmitry!
This photo has a unusual but very intersting point of view! You managed the difficult light conditions here very well. The church, framed by this archway, seems to be magnificent. Kneeling down would have given the opportunity of including the cross at it's top ;-)
Thank you for showing this!
Greetings from Grmany - and have a nice weekend!
Frank
