Taken during my recent drive/hike along the rural roads not far from Chico. Spring is in the air and short lived greenery of California is at its best.

Hi Pranab, nice capture of this tree and its "friend", its shadow. Lovely green area. Pity you couldn't catch the whole tree, probably worth another try if you are in the area. I found the barbed wire somewhat disturbing, so I took the opportunity to prepare a WS version. Regards, Daniel

A nicely composed image of the lone tree in the meadow.. many shades of green, good sharpness of details.. the small hill balances the image...

In the air and on the ground. Lovely photo with typical spring colours. I like a lot the tree, its colours and the effect it creates against the sky. The shadows on the ground and the view of the hill are also very nice and complete well the scene.

That is a fine compo with nice green tones, good light, layout is nice with lone tree and hill well framed and placed in the picture. Good sharpness of details... Maybe the barbed wire could have been cropped... but that is no big deal!

Spring is in the air here too. Do you get to see Palash trees over there Pranab Da? They are in full bloom here. Alongwith the hillock its the shadow which makes this picture for me.

A simple compo, but so beautiful...a pity that you couldn't capture the whole of the tree, maybe a step or two back would have helped. I like Daniel's WS crop. But the shadow of the tree on the green grass, can't beat that for the beauty it creates.
