Photographer’s Note
Town of Zvenigorod is one of the historical gems im Moscow vicinity. Nobody knows exactly how old is the city, but it does not realy matter. What matters is the charm of a small Russian provincial town placed by our ancestors in a beautiful scenery often called Moscow Switzerland for its high and steep hills covered with forests. One of the hills not far from Moskva river for over 600 years is occupied by Savvino-Storozhevsky monastery, where this picture was taken.
