great composition and POV,i like the contrast of the walls with the sky,those people give an idea about the size of the mosque and i can add good sharpness to the qualities of this photo.

Steve,
Good shot in a difficult place. I have the almost exact same shot so I know how hard it is to get this shot without all the distortion and such. I like the addition of the people in the photo also.
I tried a workshop on it - let me know what you think.
It's good to see someone else visited this fascinating country.

PS - after looking at my workshop on the web I think it looks a bit overpixelated and grainier too - I tried though.....
