Photographer's Note

aka "What happened to my friends?"

All along the coast of Nova Scotia we see evidence of the local climate's impact on buildings. Many times this leads to "interesting" transformations. Golden coloured shingles end up aging gracefully and become as gray as the mist and fog which often hangs around.

What is sad is when friends are no longer around who used to also "hang around". The abandonment is clear here.

It is still early in the season here, and all we see is dead grass and weeds from last year. The firtrees have barely started to bud. The shed is as always...
