Photographer’s Note

Although I’m perfectly aware, sometimes I feel like I don’t understand much of what is happening around me. Just as if I was only allowed to see shadows of reality and not reality itself.

But perhaps everything is abstract or unreal. And therefore not meant to be understood in a traditional way of thinking.

Please take a deep breath. Dive and leave your memories on the shore. Some things might get suddenly very clear.

Yeah - go with the flow and just sense things, leave the understanding for some other day (although some would claim that we understand with the body, and the other thing should be called conceptualizing (I think, I'm not so used to philosophy in english)).
Anyway, a nice weightless floating and a wonderful cyan color, but what do I understand?

difícil filosofar em inglês. melhor mesmo deixar a tarefa de sentir para o corpo. ele é mais sábio... daí um encantamento vindo dessas cores magníficas e fortes como a latinidade, coroando uma composição exótica e elegante.

This is excellent, Gal. The amazing color of the water, the position of the boy, and the reflection on the glass create such a wonderful composition. Great job, I like it very much.

Gal, for the photo a lot of smiles. i like the colors and the composition with the large space on the right.
for the note, i have my idea too. i agree with you. some times we have to go inside very far and the memories becaming. in french i say : "vider les mémoires"

Oups !! je suis fatigué, je disais que parfois il est nécessaire de prendre sa respiration et de ressentir tout au fond de soi ce qu'il se passe. des choses resurgissent parfois, on appelle ca, vider les mémoires.

WOW Gal, this is my absolute favorite in this series. everything about it works, I really like the colours and ofcourse the grains, you seem to control that very well. The way he's blindfolded by the fog, really makes it perfect.

Excelente imagem! A cores muito saturadas e com tons eléctricos criam um enorme impacto. Muito bom ponto de vista e composição.

A realidade não existe...e a fotografia é o cimento que ajuda a consolidar a mentira da sua existência...

Des pensées bien profondes Gal. Je vais plonger en apnée pour aller voir. Mais l'eau est trouble et mes yeux embués. Je ne vois rien et ne peux que te sourire pour une photo simplement belle.

Effectful, perfect companion to your notes, almost unreal colour setting in this creative compo. And whatever to understand and see - behind that mask I think a blurred sens of the sourrondings is to expect...
