an interesting venice shot. very unusual :)) the only resemblance with the 'classics' we're used to is the abundance of poles (well, usually they're wooden; whereas in your case - metal). anyway, the departure mood is surely there. good luck getting back to your craved destination :)

Très belle capture, juste au bon moment. Les couleur sont sublimes, le composition très réussie. L'alignement des lampadaires est particulièrement intéressant. D'autant plus que la photo a été prise de l'intérieur d'une auto en mouvement...

Que envidia! Veneeecia!!!
las tres tomas, a mi parecer, podrian ser foto principal. Esta tiene una profundidad buenísima com mucha calidad de imagen... bueno, la única pega que le encuentro es que el asfalto está un pelin saturado de tonos rojizos, pero la composición bien vale la pena. Los tonos de tarde y el hecho de ver los "culos" de los coches transmiten la sensación de despedida a la perfección.

por estar tomada desde dentro del coche y en marcha, la foto ha salido fenomenal.
La perspectiva de los postes de la izquierda que se pierden difuminándose al fondo de la imagen, de la carretera, y del tendido eléctrico del ferrocarril, es magnífica, y crea una gran sensación dinámica y mucha profundidad.
Los tonos rosados en el cielo, y la luz suave, rematan una foto muy bonita e interesante, perfectamente realizada. Los WS también me gustan.

Charo, I like this, it really appeal to my graphical side. It is very clean and orderly but it shows the impact of our conveniences, our infrastructure on the landscape. Great use of the setting sun to give a sky other than gray, very fine capture.

Ahhh. Your post reminds me my trip to Venezia almost 25 years ago. I was some where else in one of your workshop post.

Great perspective created by street lamps and railway energy poles. Rust tones and red lights of cars are wonderful. Benissimo, congratulations.

Hi Charo, nice afternoon shot with not much light in hand. Your ISO 400 setting should not have shown that much. I think you have compensated the exposure a bit. Noise is visible, try to use a Noise Reduction filter (like imagenomic noiseware). This will fix the noise artifacts. Great view, composition and positioning of the theme.

Ahhhh !!! que sensacion de libertad, de escapar, la que se expresa en esta tu toma, aunque con ganas de volver, es como curiosa la comparacion..

Independiente de los detalles adversos que se comentan, quizas por la condicion de pasajera que llevabas en el auto al momento de disparar, me gustan las tonalidades rojizas ofrecidas en la escena, y particularmente es interesante apreciar una faceta diferente de Venecia, llena de postes, alambres y autos, diferentes de las gondolas y los canales llenos de romanticismo.

Bonito trabajo. :) manana regreso.

Hello Charo,
now I am a bit in trouble since you have uploaded three excellent pictures and I can not decide which of them I like most. I am afraid many TE friends forgetting to click on WS will miss the splendid photos there.
As for this one: elegant composition with dominant lines starting from the bottom corners and then the rule of parallels enhanced (and followed) by the lamp pillars on the left side, then the dreamy colours - an ideal good-bye. Since it does not affect the value of the picture (and being a proud Nikonian) I allow me to state with some malicious joy that Canon produces strong colour noise already at ISO 400. (This one is not the first example I have seen.) For proof I send you a cleaned version in the WS.

We could see similar scenes in India where we have Electric Train and parallel running road.. very good geometry and nice clors and good perspective of depth..
