I like the idea to capture their reflection, you composed it very well and these colours also look very nice.

Awesome composition and the colors are great. The fact that this is a water reflection makes this phot have a dreamy and somewhat romantic feel. I particularly like the the tile grid that makses the 'sky' of this photo. Well Done

Another of your images Isabela that I have had to do a 180 on :)

It's so strange to look at each of them the "right way up" - since the effect works perfectly as is, right here. Yet the same feeling cannot be found for the images once rotated.

I suppose this is the power a photographer has, in so much as to see something and have the forethought as to how it could be made spectacular. In some ways it reminds me of those little wooden boxes which one would open and a dancer would twirl to the music. 'Talk with the shadow' had a similar musical effect.. why? I haven't a clue! But I find these two photographs of yours quite captivating.

Ah! The hug. That most underrated of human expressions - a simple yet profound gesture, full a warmth. Beautifully illustrated by your wonderful shot Isabella. You certainly have a keen eye in turning what would have been a very mundane situation (two people having their photo taken) into a very pleasing work of art.

If possible I would like to take a hug as first solution. It is always much more close to heart not only mentally but also physically :)
You chose a great reflection to "reflect" your lovely note.
Faint colors and little waves of reflection make it like a dreamy moment which I like a lot.

well seen shot, and being a reflection gives me a dreamy, romantic feel to the image. If possibel i may have taken a step to the right to take the image as this hopefully would isolate the couple from competing with the building.

Hello Isabela,

First, the photograph is excellent. Second, don't get upset with my meddling, but I don't think you should invert it. it has more power when the viewer is forced to invert the image in his/her own mind. In my new book, Leonardo's Universe (National Geographic Society), where world class photographs are mixed with the greatest art of our species, the National Geographic Photographer opens with an image of Giotto's Tower, refleted upside down, as we would see it in the puddle. Accordingly, I will do a ws for you.

Sorry for the delay! I am quite shocked to read your new intro. No new posts, leaving TE...why, why? Yes we do look fwd. for your comments as always & to your virtual hugs, but I look forward to your posts as well because of the 'power' they have. I sincerely hope you'll change your decision. It`s easy to smile to someone,it`s easy to make a fake smile,hard to hide the fake smile...yes,sometimes it`s hard to smile.
A hug can be fake as a smile...we can fake as much as we want.
True...a hug warms a heart,makes you feel better,makes you feel great,happy,a hug can do a lot of thing and meanings in the same time.
For me...to hold a hand...it`s much more powerful,it`s more sensible.

I forgot...didn`t write something about the picture...I was carried away by the waves...
Reflections looks always interesting,especially the one`s like yours.Quiet hard to find the right place for such a moody framing.Love it.
