| Here is one of the older women that stay in the village of Bena during the day spinning and weaving rather than working in the fields. |

Hi Stephen,
Good and touching portrait in soft daylight. The regular texture of the wall doesn't interfere with your subject and offers a natural background. Interesting to see this lady at work and the proximity you had with her to achieve an intimate contact.
Cheers!

Hello Steve,
A quite lovely portrait. The light falls very smoothly from the window and the wooden wall is a well chosen background. I would have liked to see the whole spindle (is that what it's called?) in her right hand. Although the woman's face is the most important subject, the spindle is an essential part of the portrait.
Best wishes,
Gert

hi Stephen,
superbe portrait ramené de ce voyage, cette femme regarde droit dans l'objectif et a un léger rictus complice. Très belles couleurs.

Hello Steve,
Very nice portrait. The sharpness is just right on the subject. The lighting is perfect, it is very evenly distributed. Did you use a flash?
Cheers

Hi Steve, nice portrait, you have captured her expressive face in fine detail, good light & colour, the soft light from the window is just right & not too bright. Nice one. Enjoy your break.
Cheers

Splendid and telling face, I regret not to see her left hand but otherwise everything is superb, colours and sharpness, her gentle expression too : congratulations !
