Photographer’s Note
Hello, TErs,
I do hope, this shot to survive and not to violate the rules, as I liked very much this lady's posture, the retro-style in her Kotel's home.
There was something both cosy and aristocratic in this interior, as in old urban houses of the beginning of the already gone century.
Well,I know I should have taken it from a lower POV to include her both hands:))
But I guess, you'll enjoy the soft mood of this shot:)
Few houses even in such places like Kotel have kept that spirit of the past and the present through their owners.
Well,I really don't want this shot to be removed. It's stylish and it's my 401st! Hahahahaha

Hello Valerka,
I can see no reason why this picture should be removed. A very good black and white study of this lady in her home. A natural pose. Good range of tones and good clarity.

I cant agree with you more on her pose and expression which are very well captured, though the picture is a little grainy. She seems very relax for this portrait.

Hi dear Valeria,
Very good b&w capture. Perfect pov and amazing compo. It reminded me to the old works of the master photographer Joseph Sudek.
TFS and best regards

Hi, Valeria -
As far as I can see, this shot is perfectly within the rules. And it is an excellent character study, chopped-off hand and all! I'm not so sure about the vignetting; I think I would have done either more (on the left) or less. Still, an excellent composition and good choice of B&W.
Best,
Dan

Dear Valeria,
After reading your note :I do hope, this shot to survive and not to violate the rules, as I liked very much this lady's posture, the retro-style in her Kotel's home...I think, images are hearts, and that gives the joy, takes us to the bliss of enjoyment..which is more important.
Here, the portrayal of the lady has a definite saturation.
Her looks, relaxed moods, and her identity is the age of thoughts..which needs appreciation.
This world may neglect this thought, but where are we heading?
Do we ever think?
To the saturated MONEY CONTROLLED smiles, and to the worldly pleasures, we DRIFT, without reaching anywhere... which is not pre-conceived too ..which has no definite rules, either..
Do we need that for ever?
Think.. act..
All the best, dear friend, for the thought in vision.
