Hi Steve, Welcome back & a very nice post from Halls Gap. Excellent colour & clarity in the FG rocks, I like the effect on the falling water achieved by your choice of shutter speed. F22 has also given you a good DOF. I like the contrast in colour between the FG & rock surface at the waterfall.

Hi Steve,
I read Santo's comments and so I presume you have spent a few days at Halls Gap and loaded your camera with numerous good shots from the Grampians. I guess the winter rain has resulted in a more dramatic waterfall. I was there 25 years ago and my aging memory does not recall seeing any waterfall. Thanks for posting this beautiful shot.

This composition with those rocks in the FG leading up to the silky smooth falling water (and the mist around it) is really nice . This kind of compo also creates a good sense of depth. I like your decision to crop out the sky and let the viewers' eyes focus on the main subject.

Nice wide shot, you've filled your foreground with plenty of awesome looking rocks and Santo is right, the small aperture has made everything clear.
