Hej Christian,
Absolutely fantastic picture with mysterious and calm mood and beautiful colors. I like this composition and POV.
Good job!

Hälsningar,
Eino

This is a beautiful photo!!! I love how you caught the hot air baloon in it as well- it turned out great!

Hello Christian,

A nice composition with very nice early reds. The light just hitting the top of that hill and the balloon in the air as a little bonus.
I like the compo, but it feels a bit overly soft. The mist is still pulling away from in between the trees at the other side of the water, but the foreground feels a bit soft as well. Might have been in the scanning of the negatives.
But a nice compo it is!

Greetings, Dennis

Hi Christian,
I don't know if colours in this shot correspond 100% to
what it can be seen by the naked eye. Saying that, I know
how red light can be on the Nile, especially in the early
morning - it's just that here I feel there's a wee bit
too much of a magenta hue going on. Is it due to
shooting with Velvia? Or am I completely wrong?
Apart from that, I like the shot and what it shows. The
frame is well composed and that baloon is just like a
whipped cream on top of an ice cream. Sweet memories
from Egypt are coming back with each of your shots!
Thank you,
Robi

Good to see you posting again. I love seeing these pinks and lavenders from good old Velvia film. Seems like a dream. Keep'em coming.
Regards,
Ryan
