a new shot taken 3 days ago ... by night.

It's a test with the noise reduction of the D200.

my last photos of long exposure (more than 5mn) were really noisy. Especially on the corners with a veil magenta ... here, it's a 10mn long exposure ... with 3mn of calculation of the D200 for the noise. The shot is really clean, no veil ... the internal noise is sweet ... and the picture totally exploitable (i hope it's the true term in english).

well ! ... for the place .... it's the southern cliffs of the "plateau des Glières", a famous place of the french guerilla during the last World War ... taken from the little village of Alex, where i spent my childhodd ...

le resultat est superbe. j'ai tenté l'utilisation de ce reducteur de bruit et le resultat reste tres interessant, pour qui sait être patient !!
son inconvénient, c'est sur ces pauses longues, tu doubles le temps d "indisponibilité" de la bête, c'est pour celà que je suis tenté de lui preferer un traitement logiciel, mais c'est vrai qu'au vu de ton image, l'image obtenue est superbe.
un chouette cadrage sur ce plateau des Glières mais il te faudra la prochaine fois mettre un paneau, le temps de pause, pour interdire aux avions,ou autres satelittes de passer devant l'objo ;-))))
