Photographer’s Note
I loved the way her 'red' saree stands out in the scene...
They were a family enjoying their afternoon in 'Birla' temple. As they were going away from me and into dark, everything else started vanishing, except the 'red'...
Red is powerful,
Red is hot,
Red is passionate,
and Red is holding...

Hi Darpan,
The light streaming in from the side through the pillars and just illuminating the segments of the interior is great. The red does jump out and is definatley a focus point in the shot. Nice symmetry too with the pillars on either side.

hi darpan,
just beautiful.
with the shiny pavement the women seem like walking 'on water'.
beautiful perspective, eye well lead towards the dark end of the corridor and the red clothing contrasts nicely with the brown(ish) tones.
well seen!

Hi Darpan, you're right in your notes about the effect and power of the red.. and here we can see it, but we could see it more, you could choose higher pov including the reflection of the woman on the ground.. but with the lines on the left and right it has a nice depth ending with the strong colors,

Hello Darpan
Everything is disappearing except the red. Well lit from the side and nice reflections, Marlene

Hello Darpan,
a view kinda mysterious...
I like the red silhouette against the dark warm background, with these vertical columns. I risk to disagree with most of the comments concerning the reflection of the lady in red: it seems to me quite good, and I'm not sure that it would be better to keep the full reflection of the lady... It might distract attention from the main subject of the photo.. Anyway it's only my humble opinion.
Best greetings,
Elena

hi darpan,
It's a truly captivating post.I think the composition has gained a lot from the light coming from the side and obviously from the red color of sari.
great one

Hola Darpan:
The light in this image is exceptional, the good colors and the definition, the interesting framing although I had tried with a vertical format, in any case it is a charming composition with the predominance of the RED magician of the garment of the woman.
Congratulations for the work.
Best regards.

Darpan: a very nice composition - and I wouldn't comment on a shot unless I like it. There really isn't enough time. Fine work with the light and repeating patterns here. Colors are rich, saturated and everything is nicely tuned to the light and crisp. regards, c

Nice, very nice Darpan. I was going through your thread with Isa...if you just took this shot for the symmetry, without the people, would it be this interesting? I doubt. Yes I would have liked a bit lower F length to have the complete RED reflection. Yes it eye catching, that's more the reason why the entire reflection would have made this better. Nice work with the light & shadows!

Colors, lines, and graphism are wonderful !
J'aime beaucoup ces différentes tranches de couleurs, avec celles très vives des vêtements.
Bonne soirée

Red!
I am also on RED's side, i love its power and all that energy it adds to photos. My other favourite element, the darkness is also evident in this outstanding photo. The perspective, the light, the low POV... all are evidences of a top notch phoography. My complients,

I really wonder if there is a single person who is object to red's power, passion, attraction...
You captured the family passing around the columns of temple and you were very lucky that a member of the family is dressed in red. No doubt that red presence adds a lot to the scene.
Congrats Darpan,

Hi Darpan,
Excellent depiction of red in low light condition making good use of light and shade. The low camera position is also great.

Hello Darpan!
I like this low key capture, with very good contrast and the deep colours blowing up from the symmetric framing where the lights are such a great detail. Well taken!

yes really stands out !Also decisive moment since a little too late she would not be in the light any longer, a little too early and she would not be alone in the light
Bravo
