I like the image just as it is...
the compositioin is a positive point to me, as the sharpness and colors...and yet the good light of the image...altough I agree that the great sky is a fabulous advantage.

hello Didier,
you are right, the sky indeed is absolutely amazing, I like a lot the different textures of the clouds, fluffy and smoke-like, I find it adds a great dynamism and energy to a scene that otherwise would have a completely different mood. the tree is just in the right place in the frame to provide scale and add a point of focus, and again - without that tree this photo would not be as great as it is now. all elements are well combined here, excellent work.

C'est un véritable festival de magnifiques ciels que je vois aujourd'hui et le tien ne déroge pas... Effectivement un paysage tout simple mis en relief pas ces belles conditions météo. Les couleurs sont très agréables à l'oeil, bravo Didier.

Comme quoi, il suffit quelquefois de peu d'éléments pour faire une superbe photo. La preuve !
La composition est bien pensée, l'arbre isolé se découpe bien sur les gros nuages blancs, et les magnifiques filaments occupent judicieusement le reste de l'image.
Tout cela avec de belles couleurs naturelles : le dégradé de bleus est merveilleux.
C'est amusant, je ne sais pas si c'est seulement mon imagination, mais je vois la côte atlantique française en ces nombreux nuages : la Manche, la Bretagne, le bassin d'Arcachon... Non ?
Bravo pour cette jolie photo.

Hello Didier,

Il s'agit là d'un ciel qui se devait d'être immortalisé sur TE. Les nuages sont superbes et la position de l'arbre crée une scène vraiment harmonieuse malgré le peu d'éléments qui la compose.

Very good note, which I agree with. The tree looks superb against the sky. The clouds are magnificent and very well exposed in your photo. The placing of the tree on the right makes this a very fine landscape. The colour saturation seems just right. The result is a photo with an enormous sense of space. Very well done.

As for me, you are not a landscape photographer, but when you find such a sky of artistic vision, why not go for it? It is interesting indeed, delightful polarized blue, and the tree is a good element in the compo. I like it.

you are right: the sky adds a lot to a photo... And so it does, in this photo. It's magnificent, with the clouds of various shapes, moving to different directions... the sky makes the photo look very attractive, a bit magic and very dynamic. Excellent composition and beautiful colour gamma! The tree is a bonus ;)

Ha, a Dutch sky, how i like that ;-)
No need to say that the sky is the real winner here. Impressive cloud formations with a huge amount of depth, but also the blue is beautiful satured with high contrast.
The tree adds a second nice part to it, without him it would be all too empty, now we have a good focalpoint...but that sky is the real star of the show....perfect!!!

Ce ciel méritait amplement la photo. J'aime ce mouvement de nuages sur ce ciel si bleu. Le ciel n'est plus un élément de la photo il en devient le sujet.

Salut Didier,
C'est sur que la c'est le ciel qui fait l'essentiel de la photo car au sol ca manque un poil de lumiere et l'impression generale est un peu sombre, par contre toi tu as su bien exposer cette scene avec ses hautes lumieres et la composer de maniere agreable en decentrant l'arbre solitaire pour ouvrir sur les nuages.
