Hey Mark,

Hm, quite a beautiful skyline you`ve arranged here. It gives the impression that it is tightly packed and imposing, although there are many more cities in the US that have a "better" skyscraper array (both in height and in number) than Detroit. In the end it`s all about the density, and that is shown very nicely here.
Anyway, the lighting is very beautiful and so is the cloud definition. A solid, well-thought-of and executed skyline-panorama. Thanks for sharing.

Hallo Mark,
Light is great, just as your stitching and most of all the composition. You really spend a lot of time in making these kind of photo's and the result is very good. A bit distortion on the buildings, but does not really bothers me because the view is perfect...very good work.

Hi Mark,
Those beautiful sunset colors really make the most of the skyline. Those dark clouds on the left are really a plus. An eye-catching cityscape.

Hi Mark,
Very nice panorama, at this early evening time the lights on the buildings are not very powerful, but the point here was to have the massive skyline silhouette detached over this warm background, and this works.

So it's your turn of publishing panoramic.
This one give a better place to sky than the previous but as you said in your note, less city light, it's pity. If you had got same city lights than the previous with this incredible blue/red sky you got here, you would have a so amazing picture. I think sky like this one don't happen each day.

this one is certainly MUCH better compared to your previous NYC post that by the way isn't there anymore.
The colors are strong and maybe a little bit on the oversaturated side for my personal taste. Great composition with the cluster of skyscrapers to the right.

Nothing wrong with these sunset colours whatsoever, in fact I prefer urban sunsets to beach sunsets, I am over them now and it wasn't really the shot I wanted to post yesterday but after 6 hours out with Tony I had to show something at least. Anyway the deep blacks compliment the blue and off orange superbly and the smooth water is a real eye-catcher. I hope one day you make it to NZ one day.

Jo, da hattest du recht, ist echt ein super Panorama geworden, und das auch noch bei Nacht, wow!!! Also was mit bei deinem ersten Detroit Bild noch besser gefällt, ist halt, dass die Skyline da noch besser beleuchtet ist, aber sonst ist es (bis auf das bisschen Rauschen in den unteren Wolken, das aber kaum auffällt) ein super Bild!!! Toll !

Another stunning sunset image of another very well know city. Love the colors here, very adequately saturated. composition is just perfect, the light behind the buildings are very nice and the silhoutte of the skyline fantastic. The lare version is nice, but there is some noise on the large version due to the dpi, But I'm sure on your original it's perfect. Thanks Mark, another good one in your gallery, which is very impressive.

Hallo Mark,
warme Farben im Sonnenlicht, bzw. den Resten, dazu die dunklen Schatten der Gebäudesilhouetten mit ihren typischen Lichtflecken. Der See gibt dann den passenden Untergrund. Die Wahl und Position der Inhalte ist überzeugend.

checking in from CA and found your new photo. I love it and the large version too! The sky is amazing, but so is the calm blue Detroit River in the foreground. Beautiful panorama!

A nice view, full of beautiful colours. I like the two bands of blue colour (water and sky) which perfectly frame the orange tones, while the skyline receive a good balance thanks to the clouds.
