Photographer’s Note
Believe me or not!!!! We had pass on Death Valley on FRIDAY 13..... And we're still alive (thanks to car airco) even with a T° of 115°F (47°C) in this part. A took this panoramic and i went out. I had seen some taken from top of dunes but i think i wouldn't come to top alive, like a guy who died 2 years ago in this conditions. It's not call Death Valley without reason.

Hi Alexis,
I`ve been to Death Valley in May and it was so hot!!! I like the shot, wonderful panorama, the dunes have this 3D look, looks lovely with the mountains poping out in the back of the image, lovely scene!
Take care
Mark
PS: Passing Death Valley on Friday 13, very brave, very brave ;-)

Ca, ça commence à être du pano !!!
Sinon, j'aime beaucoup ces bandes : buissons, sable, roc, ciel... Cela fonctionne très bien. Et au-delà de ça, l'endroit est top. Peut être juste un peu froid.

Hi Alexis,
This certainly brings back memories! I like the panoramic format and the way the softness of the dunes contrasts with the angular mountains behind, although I think you could perhaps have desaturated the blues on the mountains a little. The light is obviously very harsh during the day and there appears to be a bit of a blue cast.
Did you stay the night in Death Valley? We ended up spending the night on the Furnace Creek camp ground which was quite an experience! I'd like to go back in February or March which would be better for photography and a more comfortable temperature.
Regards
John

A great difference and contrast between the two plans! Harsh and soft! Warm and cold!
The aerial perspective is impressive!
Thank you for sharing.
Greetings from Greece,
Athanasios.
