Intro: Hi there,

This site blends two of my biggest passions, travel and photography.

In March 2005 I bought a Pentax *ist DS with the kit lens. My experience with SLRs is pretty limited, I bought one to improve the quality of my travel photography and gain new skills. I'm dead set on improving so I strongly welcome any comments on my images.

I really like the Pentax SLR's cause they are really well built and sit in the hand nicely. They also don't try to be all things to all people (judging by thier marketing you would think they weren't trying at all!). Plus the lenses are fantastic.

I've travelled in Fiji, New Zealand, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

My travel immediate priorities are Japan, Laos, Burma, Bhutan. I've plans to visit England/Germany next year. I really want to see Cuba before Castro goes, but I've heard mixed things. Central Asia is my next priority after that.
