| Introducción: | Cliquer ici pour la version française ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22 AUGUST 2008: Technical problems of these last days have discouraged me from being on TE as often as before. But since mid-july I am regularly posting photos and articles on my blog (sorry, French only). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- January 7th, 2008 – New Year, new intro... Me in a few words: born in 1961 of a French mother and an Indonesian father, I grew up in New York before moving to Geneva at the age of 13. I've lived here ever since and even took up the Swiss nationality a few years ago. I work in a bank where I'm in charge of IT training and safety and my hobbies are mountain climbing, traveling and photography (what a surprise!). My first contact with the TE virus was in 2004 while I was surfing the Internet (one is never careful enough!). My case got worse as early as 2005 when I organized my first TE meeting that gathered over 20 members. I experienced numerous relapses in 2006 and 2007 with meetings becoming more and more frequent in Switzerland, but also France and even Belgium. And to hold out in between the meetings, I exchanged thousands of messages on the forum with other members (some even more seriously struck than me). Every now and then, I'm determined to kick the habit. I find other occupations, other priorities,... and it works for or few days or even a few weeks. But in the end, I always end up coming back to TE and all the friends I've made here. For me, TE is: - lots of friends all over the world, - fabulous places to discover through others' pictures, - great tips that help me make better pictures. TE is not: - a matter of points, - a photo contest.
