| Introducción: | I have been living in Vancouver, British Columbia for the past 10 years. I was born in Montreal, Quebec. I fell in love with photography after my girlfriend, now wife, bought me my first camera, a Pentax P3. Though I love photography, I am mostly inspired when I am doing my other passion, travelling. Travelling has allowed me to feel much more connected to the rest of the world. Seeing places I never imagined, meeting people who lead completely different lives and yet being able to connect with them immediately, has changed how I see the world and how I want to live my life. Photography gives me the opportunity to capture these very special moments. In 2000, my wife and I took a year off to travel. We cycled from Scotland to Greece, then hiked in Nepal, went to Thailand, China and ended in New Zealand. Since then, we have taken every opportunity we can to travel and of course, take more photos. This includes several trips to France and our latest trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. We are always dreaming of new places to go to; the amazing pictures on TE have both inspired and fuelled those dreams. Our next adventure will be to cycle the length of Africa from Cairo to Cape Town. The journey begins on January 12th, 2008. After completing the ride to Cape Town we will do some travelling in Africa and then continue cycling in Europe and parts of Asia. I will be posting images from the trip on our blog at here. | |
