| Introducción: | A professional landscape photographer specialized in high altitude photography. A trained mountaineer. A computer engineer by education but never got the hang of it. Prefer the outdoor life. I spend months at a time in the Himalayas. From 2004-2006 I spent 9 months (March to November) in the mountains photographing the lakes, passes, peaks and the occasional candid and portraits. In the process I have visited 21 lakes, crossed 13 passes and climbed 4 peaks. I failed on one expedition to Mt. Kedar Dome (6830m) and had to retreat during my summit attempt a I got caught in a blizzard at 3.00am at 21,000 feet. If all would have gone well I would have summited at around 8am. I am also a major Grateful Dead fan. I can not be in the mountains without my music. I have just joined this site and getting the hang of it.
