| Hi, Donato, Thanks for the critique. I used the "human bipod" instead of a tripod for this shot: elbows spaced widely, resting on a ledge at the side of the baths. When I don't have a tripod with me (or when I'm in a place where using one would be impractical), I've found that I can often shoot a reasonably sharp image down to about 1/5 second shutter time by bracing my arms or hands against some firm object. I may have to discard some blurry ones, too; among the great advantages of digital photography are the immediate feedback and the essentially zero cost per extra shot. Regards, - William |
