First time in Nisyros, I had a nice feeling for this island, even before I reached there. I knew that the main atraction is the volcano, and i expected to see some strange landscapes, but they were really surreal!!! Soon, I discovered that Nisyros is not just the volcano. A beautiful "Hora", Mandraki, with nice taverns and cafes. Two picturesque mountainous villages, Nikeia and Empoureio, beautiful churches and monasteries and many, many more... ...
