Hi, Very pleasing. This classic composition is well presented in this light. I have often searched coastline for subjects in these proportions and they are surprisingly difficult to find with access to the correct angles and all too often is just 'not quite right' Maybe 1/6 cropped off the bottom would be good too. Hi, I would agree that the toning is not quite right, but I think that there is a very strong image lurking in here somewhere. Maybe you need to get on the other side of the fence (without being arrested) to achive a slightly more dramatic angle. Very nice though, well done. Thanks, Dougie.

Hi, Shades of 'Deliverance' here Andrew.. Maybe he'd arranged a meeting with the guy on the other bridge and one or both of them got it wrong? I like the perspective and it's got a delicious warm summer afternoon feel to it, which we can look forward to in these parts. Thanks, Dougie.

Hi, I would agree that the previous shot looks better and did not seem to suffer at all from being at the higher speed. Both well composed shots though with sharp details. As you say, not the 'prettiest' scene in the world, nevertheless a good documentation of the area. Thanks, Dougie.

Hi, Good representation of a typical Borders landscape Jon. The diagonals work well and you got the road disappearing at just the right point in the frame and coming out of the corner gives a fine perspective. Thanks. Dougie

Hi, An interesting shot, all the more so because of the history and personal significance that it has. Good to record such things. I remember a similar structure that I drove past for years thinking I must stop and photograph that sometime and on the day I decided to do it I was too late! I might have liked a slightly wider view with more background but as it is it's well lit and coloured. Thanks, Dougie.
