A very attractive image. I love the blue too. Your title attracted me as I have a catchphrase when I am feeling a little down. It's blue but not the blue of meloncholia but that of blue skies, sea and that special blue paint used everywhere in Greece. it cheers me up. So I think BLUE. Your composition is good. You have used the thirds rule to to effect. best wishes Bev

You may wish to read a little bit about the history of the building of this bridge Julius. The water isn't really that deep and bigotry had nothing to do with its conception or construction. As Freud is reputed to have said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." I'm afraid you could be arrested for driving with overly artistic "license" for that characterization... ;-) Welcome to TE nonetheless Julius. Since you're so fond of this famous landmark, perhaps you'd appreciate one of my most recent photos of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I like the compostion and the light on the trees. The contrast is good, and in my opinion will be more suitable if the picture is tunred to B/W. regards: Hasan
