Your hour walk was woth it here. I like photographs taken where a bit of effort was required to capture a place not commonly seen and photographed. This composition is a man made abstraction which served you well. Great Job. Aloha, JB

Your use of grayscale pays off here. It would be fun to see some of the details as closeups with interesting reflections too. Funny to see this car just parked on the street. Must be those pleasant CA skies.

Hi Dominic, B&W worked perfect for this shot. The sky is a bit dull and a polariser might have helped in creating more contrast. Also, I wonder if a lower viewpoint would have helped in using the trail to drive your attention into the building. Otherwise, a really nice picture. TFS! marcelo

Very nice shot and great use of sepia colour. The photo looks a bit noisy and over-exposed in some areas but it is, anyway, a good way of showing us that beautiful old church. It would be very interesting to have some more info about the church. Well done. Antonio

A really interesting building Dominic - perhaps the quality of the image is not as good as it could be but it was a great idea to use this dark sepia toning....something i like to use as well. best wishes Kev
