not sure what to make of this image but I really really like it... I think it is the harsh lighting, slight over-sharpening, the figures frozen in chaos (in their 'costumes'), the magritte like "looking glass" expressions (with the photographer photographing into each other, the line of back of heads, the eye patch, etc), the unusual detached balloon floating away, and juxtaposition of the Roman Coliseum... terrific work Giorgio. best regards... richard

fine art photography is all about light and this is a beautiful example... this image conveys such a sublime aura of 'presence'... the feeling of being there. the composition is simple yet in perfect balance with gentle captivating light, warmth inside the cold atmosphere, and such fine detail which compels the eye to explore.... wonderful image Nicou. best regards, richard

hi Giorgio, quintessential Cartier-Bresson decisive-moment-esque, but with an ultra wide composition and bold, dynamic, dominating, distorted lines & shapes... every element seems precisely frozen in perfect juxtaposition within a skillfully surreal and fascinating artwork. best regards, richard

very cool, very artistic.... I like that photography can take photo-realism into the realm of fine art and personal expression... this is a bold, striking image of every day life but masterfully visualized and composed into a work of art which dances in the frame between the real world and sublime abstraction... fantastic, richard

well done, very beautiful rendering... I like the convergent point of rock, sea, sky and lighthouse base as a focal/composition element... the complement of lines, shapes and stark content, and the sinuous proportion/flow of sky clouds against the rock form, is very provocative and artful... congratulations, richard

excellent portrait of MSM, beautifully framed with classical form and superb tonal range and sharp detail... I really like the slight vignetting as this adds a touch of elegance and drama... compliments, richard
