Beautifully placed in the frame. Left wing and body are nice and clean with loads of detail, whereas the right wing falls outside the DOF range. For most macros you need substantially higher than f-2.8 to keep overall DOF, possibly f-8 or higher.

These gannets are such beautiful birds, I'd love to see some "live" one day ;-) Great action capture. The high shutter speed probably saved you from burnt out whites. An alternative could be to stop down 1/3 or 2/3 on exposure. One problem with so many birds present at one place is, that it may well be difficult to get a clean shot of your subject without other birds getting in the way, as is also the case here. I like it anyway ;-)

Beautiful colours and great cloud formations. These rape fields can really brighten things up. Nice capture ;-)

Cute little critters, good to hear you're looking after them and that the parents accepted your efforts. The flash seems to have been too harsh overall, if there's no setting for close-ups, and provided this is full frame, how about trying again from a bit further away, so the flash disperses a bit more.

If this is the backyard, I'd just love to see the front yard, because that must be impressive ;-)) I wish my hanging baskets and potted plants looked as healthy as these ;-) Nice and colourful capture.

Great capture of this little lake nesting in a hollow above the cloud line. Nice colours, it looks almost as if you could walk on those clouds ;-)

Cute and colourful little fellow, well placed in the frame. A spot of fill flash would probably have lit up the darker part of his chest, but focus is spot on. Why were you photographing headstones, are you into genealogy or local history ? (I am ;-))

Pretty framing for a pretty place. I agree on the overexposure issue, though. -1/3 stop should probably do the trick, if your camera can handle exposure compensation.

It seems your bees are better trained than ours, I can never get one to sit still long enough for a decent focus. And should one sit still - quite by accident - it's always with the bum turned my way.. Great capture ;-)

Excellent capture of a type of shield bug I haven't seen yet. Good DOF keeping the entire beast within focus, good use of fill flash to light up also part of the underside. The green bits of him blend in admirably with the foliage, but the bright colours give him away ;-) If this is full frame, you might consider cropping a bit top and right.
