Excellent photo. Nice contrast and tonality. The slight tilt of the slope in the frame positions the receding road very nicely in a third, enhancing depth and attracting attention to the misty trees in the distance. Very well done.

However, on my screen the photo appears over-sharpened, or perhaps jpeg artifacts at the edges.

Amazing depth indeed. The critical sharpness of this lens has no doubt contributed to the appeal of this, but I am struck by the compositional harmony, with lines and objects placed in just the right position and perspective. The timing is impeccable, the photographer nearly invisible, as it were, to the actors here. A dramatic light as well.

Like this one a lot. There is a tenderness here that is a rather surprising element in photos of naga sadhus that nearly always concentrate on the spectacle.

For the same reason I think the original is a quite a lot stronger than the first workshop (which seems somewhat sensational to me, IMHO), and the second workshop is too close to see the surroundings well.

This is an interesting effect, good decision to make the vertical motion blur. Photos of tropical rain forests from the ground level seldom work due to overcrowding this is a nice exception.

I don't know why you got so few points on this photo. In my humble opinion you have captured a great moment, funny yet sympathetic. It is hard to miss the eagerness and concentration in the face of this money, its earnestness is a caricature of us humans but by doing so it expresses a very human emotion as well as some of the best work of human mimes. Congratulations on a beautiful photograph.

Wow Evren! A lovely shot of nightfall at the docks. Marvelous color and tonality. Your composition is brilliant and so is the color rendition. The transition from still-bright blue-purple sky on the right to the darkening sky at the left, with delicious 'grain', is fascinating. Love this one.

PS: I am thinking of going for a 5D (or a D300, for which I already have a 28/2 and 105/2.5). Can't decide. What lens was this one taken with?

A beautiful moment of closeness, captured with excellent sensitivity.
Love the asymmetric composition, which gives it sufficient "air" so their closeness gets the emphasis it deserves.

If I had the chance I would probably like to crop the top ~1/8 of the photo (to the top of the oval) and make it a square format. Crazy stuff!
