It was also well worth going inside Presner Fortified Castle. A good upward pov on the tower and the flowers add a splash of colour. Tfs! |

It's the same story here. Many refugees were incarcerated in detention camps offshore on neighboring islands or imprisoned in detainee hotels in the large cities. Some of them have moved to Canada and the USA, tired of waiting for the slow moving wheels of bureaucracy. Others succumbed to poor medical services or suicide. But at least Sweden has publicly acknowledged that there is a problem, unlike Australia, at least until the recent change of government here. For every bad refugee, I am sure you will find that there are thousands more who did or do fit in well and contribute enormously to society. Australia just appointed it's first two Muslim Ministers in government, ever. |

Looks like a nice summer resort especially on a hot day with a clear blue sky and a blazing sun. I like the repetition of the palm trees which add a subtropical look. Tfs! |

This scene needs no introduction. The Nazi prison uniforms are instantly recognizable. And it wasn't just the Jews that they persecuted. The Nazis were ruthless with anyone or anything at odds with their warped ideology. Tfs! |

I did visit one fortified church from Brasov by catching local buses to & from Prejmer fortified church. The only guesthouse was closed and there were no restaurants, so I abandoned any plans for an overnight stay and headed back to Brasov after the obligatory photos. Tfs. This one looks similar. A nice drone shot of Prejmer I found on internet.
