To danielswalsh: cranberry farms
 

As I say in my note, this farm is in Agassiz countryside, but this summer someone has been building new cranberry production facilities just north of the Trans Canada Highway east of Chilliwack - looks to be a huge series of fields. Will be very interesting to see how that develops in the next few years. Thanks for stopping by, Dan. Gerald

Sorry is Adassiz part of the 'Fraser Valley'? Forgive me if I'm wrong ;-)

Agassiz is in the eastern part of the Fraser Valley, only about 18 miles west of Hope. Chilliwack is sort of central, and Abbotsford/Langley would be on the western side of the Fraser Valley. Hope that helps. Gerald

I really should know better as I used to live on Trethewey Street in Abbottsford! Although that was back in '83. Hard to believe how much it's changed...
