Farah, forget Sean. He's intro says that he is not a photographer. Considering he´s activity, he´s not a critiquer as well, so I guess he´s interest is just to disturb a little bit.
btw, maybe there´s another interest..

NO

But I do want the new site to work and to have all the capabilities of the old site.

This referendum is similar to asking those in the life boats if they want the Titanic to float again, not really a possibility eh?

What is the tally so far George?

A comparison to Titanic…?
A good one - I may say.
With the one exception…This Titanic still floats.
Crippled by the owners but, more useful than ever before. Not only till now we realized what a technical marvel it was back then.
How incredibly smoothly and smartly and 'user friendly' it was designed. How easy to surf and read… Read…Read. And write…write…Write !
Over the years - many features and many improvements were injected into it.
It wasn't perfect but, nothing is perfect.
Titanic - you said ?
Yes… A Titanic, majestically floating on the surface…

How difficult it would be to make it more 'chicky' … More 'modern' (?)…
I don't know but, I would imagine.
Ad a new logo, a different shape of a square or a button, a 'chicky' flashing sign, implement a big format of a slide show into it. Fancy lettering…? Anything.. Your guess is as good as mine. Only our imagination is our limit.

Moving the points display into some hiding here or there?
No problem… Piece of cake. For a computer geek - a touch of a mouse ( or two).

………………………..

As of now…
We will never know for sure, but as we speak - more people are surfing the old version of the portal than the new one - I guess ?
I know - I am…
And I know that those of you fellows who voted for the new version - many of you are surfing the old Titanic - as well.
For the convenience of it. For its logics. For its bigger, crispy fonts. For its comfort.
For - you must be kind of a masochist to impose the hardship on you instead of choosing the pleasure of an easy and relaxing love making to the previous site.

…………………………..

You guys, are asking to implement ALL of the features of the old site into the new one ???

Then - don't call it new one - anymore…

…………………………………..

Latest tally ?
About 30-35 % more YES votes for the old one.
Funny thing, though…
Decisive number of the 'NO' votes (against the old site) - came from the French speaking members

?????????

Can't explain that, but I suspect that the " I hate that Polish baastard Polonaise" factor - jumped into the place.
The word 'no' somehow fits better to anything associated with Polonaise… Anything…

Just my shaggy thoughts, only. No proof. No surveys. No statistics to support my idea.

………………………

And, how's your day, folks ?

Love and beer.
