Adrian, I wasn't taking pictures when I was there in the early 80's, I spent all my time scuba diving, but I loved the life and the food, especially the wine there.

Now this interests me pretty much: how was is there in the early 80´s? From what I´ve heard, the tourism wasn´t very developed there at those times, or maybe only few resorts were built in the north. Can you pls reveal what are your recalls from those times? Thanks a lot!

Btw: don´t tell me about the wines! I have one bottle of Cannonau di Sardegna from Jerzu region saved for the winter and mentioning their wines means it may not make it until then! :-D

It was very under developed then. Even as an American local we got discounts at the restaurants and we never went some place and found no vacancy. It was quiet and rural except for Caglari but we spent most of our time out toward Villsimius or the one hotel that was about half way there.
