Beautiful autumn scene .. you really caught the light on the gold .. and then that sky .. man .. wow what a moment !!!! bit of a line between the frames in the sky .. but still .. autumn vastness .. tremendous .. take care, John

To jmcl: the long term prospects don't look good
but we're still having a good time right now so I think I'll just stay in the now. That's all anybody has anyway.

I often think that in future epochs they will look back incredulously on how little we understand time and especially "now"
we are doing all right .. short term things seem overwhelming .. long term I guess we have made progress .. there just always seems infinitely more things that need to be in place ... we hunkering down for the oncoming Duluth winter .. which so far has been pretty mild ... take care, John
