Great Oldtree 2005-11-14 12:54

A beautiful place you are showing us here, David. The small river leads into the picture, the mountains give a nice background and the heather in the foreground is well chosen. Only the colors are to flat for my liking. I tried a WS.

Yep - I do like your workshop - it stands out above my original.
Interesting, I'd already done all the PP you mention, perhaps not enough. I occasionally get critical comments to say I've oversharpened some of my images!

I guess it all comes down to monitor calibration (I usually use a laptop) and personal taste.

Hi,

yes I know what you mean. I'm using an analog monitor, a TFT and a notebook and I'm always a bit worried how the photo might look like on other screens after uploading.
