You seem to have stayed by there days before i did too . I remember the effect Hagia Sofiya and Blue Mosque produces at looking at them , my camera became foolish and i took so many pictures . I like yours because it is very nicely composed , well balanced by adding slices of green that seems to cut the picture into 3 differencied parts with an upper Hagia Sofiya resting on blue and that blessed water (specially when it is more than 35 degrees) and the upper blue sky . Did you enjoy Turkey ?

Selam/Hola/Hi:)
i've stayed in Istanbul from 25th of June till 9th of July. i've spent my last day with some friends of mine lying on the grass nearby Hagia Sofia and Sultanahmet coz we couldn't stay in our hostel any longer and that was when i took this picture... i miss Istanbul so much coz i really enjoyed it. it was my dream for a long time before and it didn't disappoint me. hopefully i will keep on coming back there :) |

Oh ! Then we did the same . As we could not stay longer in the hostel we went up to that place ( our hostel as many was downhill Sultanahmed , by Akbiyik Caddesi facing to Marmara sea ) and rest our shoulders with our backpackers on the grass . Istanbul is such an astounding place specially the atmosphere around Galata bridge ... I heard about Istanbul sunsets through several sources : travel guides , comments by known people who visited the place , some movies recreating Istanbul enchants : a Spanish one entitled : "La pasión turca" ( Turkish passion ) based upon a Spanish novel by the writer Antonio Gala with the same title as the movie . If you have the possibility of watching that movie it surely will be a nice reminder for you about those places you enjoyed in Istanbul
