Actually, I think this is rather good. What technique/programmes did you use for HDR? Your picture has certainly captured the mood of the place.

To tyro: hdr
Hi john,
I took three exposures 1 correctly exposed, 1 under exposed and 1 over exposed.then in photo shop Cs2 FILE, AUTOMATE then MERGE TO HDR picked the three exposures and bingo a hdr set the gamma then smart sharpened to reduce the slight motion blur changed the image to 16 bit and tweaked the shot with shadow hi-light filter.
