Great LamCam 2007-12-02 14:36

Hello Paul
I would like to see this - it is very reminiscent of the church of Aghios Isodorus on Leros.
Your POV is very good in this shot, with no sky or horizon to take our eye away from the church. The colours are better than in some of your others shots - deeper, without being too vivid.
Best wishes Maggie

Default To LamCam: Greece

Hello Maggie
Thanks for your comments on my photos,I see you appear to love the greek islands as much as myself.Ive seen your photos and its obvious you have a great eye for composition and colour. Your Fishing in the Mist is beautiful.
I havent worked out all my camera modes yet and I tend to rush so as not to miss the moment.I will have to try and learn one thing at a time and have more patience.
BEST WISHES
PAUL

Hello Paul
Thank you very much for your message. Yes, I am a confirmed Grecophile! I know what you mean about rushing things - I fall into this trap regularly, particularly when I am not alone and feel I am holding up the proceedings, or when in a public place and I feel very conspicuous. I think the 'one thing at a time policy is a good one'. I found that trying out the 'bracketing' facility on my camera taught me quite a bit about exposure - and about my camera too!
Hope to see you around on TE.
Best wishes Maggie
