Default Best place for photography in Asia

I have about 1 week right after Christmas to travel from Singapore to another destination in Asia. What are the best places for travel photography around this time of year. I don't like to rush through places, a city and its surrounding should be fine for me.

I am thinking of Borobodur in Indonesia, Luang Prabang in Laos and Lijang in China. I have already visited Angkor and Bagan this year, if I go to Borobodur, I will complete all the major Buddhist sites in SEA and obtain the dubious distinction for the only idiot to do that with 3 separate trips from North American continent.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Thien

Thank you but in an attempt to avoid being branded as an idiot, I have now decided on Luang Prabang in Laos. :D

Default Rainy Season in Indonesia

As a tropical country, it's rainy season in Indonesia from October to March. Go several degrees of meridian to north around northern Vietnam, I think sould be okay. Or, go to south, I think it's warm season now in southern Australia.
