Jolie vue animalière, en plus il est bien visible sur ce fonds de neige.
Petite question stupide : c'est un cerf ou une biche ?

Bien cordialement,

Emmanuel

Default To graffer: White lines, halos, etc.

Thank you, Peter, for your encouragement yet again.

Yes, I did separate the sky into another layer and darkened it and then flattened the image. I struggled for a while and couldn't manage to get rid of that halso or white line which is most evident on the left-hand hill. I don't know if this is something to do with the degree of "feathering" used when selecting an area for a layer. No idea. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Kind Regards,

John.

Hello John,

How did you separate the sky here? Lasso, Magic Wand....?

In my quest for tutorials on layers, I came upon this very useful way of darkening the sky. I used it in my Pillar Garden picture.

One would still have to be careful erasing along the skyline using this method.

Best wishes,

Peter.
