Take a look at my message to Ray about the 49 people who live on Pitcairn Island. They have mail pickup four times a year, when a freighter comes from New Zealand. I mailed a few postcards to the grandchildren on January 16. They will be picked up and mailed in March. They must have communication with New Zealand, but there are no airstrips for airplanes to land. In case of serious illness, they must be transported to New Zealand.
