Hello Leslie,
John [tyro] has kindly mentioned my composition analysis workshops in his critique, so I thought I might run this superb picture of yours through my usual routine. However, I now realise that you have not chosen the option of allowing workshops on your images. If you would like to enable this, I will post my WS diagrammatic analysis for you.
There is marvellous strength in this composition. The rule of thirds does indeed come into play here. That point where four different curves in the architecture meet the sky, lies very close to an intersection of thirds lines [also sometimes called a power point].
However, the major element I see here - in a structure where curves are dominant - is a very dynamic triangle which starts from the lower left corner, where the lady and her companion are striding out in step across the picture.
There are so many other geometric forms of this wonderful building that are beautifully shown in detail in the light and shaded areas of your image.
